Captain Marvel is Carol Danvers, the first female superhero in the Marvel Universe, and one of the mightiest, male or female. Our vinyl decal captures her ferocity.

The origin of Captain Marvel had the hero as a male, but this was changed in the 1980s with the death of that character.

Once she was a US Air Force officer, but she got caught in a powerful explosion with Mar-Vell, a visiting Kree alien. The blast perfectly fused her DNA with his, creating Captain Marvel  – seemingly human, but with a healthy dose of Kree and some pretty amazing super powers.

At present, she is not only probably the strongest of the Avengers, she’s also been their boss – the leader of the Avengers. Captain Marvel comics continue to present her as a solid feminist icon, more than equal to her male peers, with humor, wit, and thrills galore.
