The Violet Lantern Corps, or as they are better known, the Star Sapphire Corps are the female counterparts to the mostly male Guardians of Oa, and their Violet Lantern is powered by love. Hal Jordan’s truest love, Carol Ferris, is a Violet Lantern. The power of love has enabled the Star Sapphire Corps to rehabilitate at least one former super villainess, who has become a Star Sapphire herself (Fatality, a nemesis of Green Lantern John Stewart). 

Love Influence: a Star Sapphire’s power can weaken, and eventually, be fatal to a Red Lantern.

Fun Fact: during the War of Light, Wonder Woman wore a Violet Lantern ring and joined the Star Sapphire Corps to battle the Black Lanterns!
